Democrats continue to extend registration lead across the board
UPDATED, 2:15 PM, 7/11/16: It may be even worse than it looks for the GOP, if history is a guide.
GOP poll: Hardy can hold his seat
GOP Rep. Cresent Hardy, considered one of the more vulnerable incumbents in the country, is in a dead heat with Democratic state Sen. Ruben Kihuen, according to a new poll from the National Republican Congressional Committee.
SuperPAC goes up with new ad against Heck
The Senate Majority PAC, a Democratic-aligned group, is going up with a new ad hitting Rep. Joe Heck for being soft on banks. The new ad comes after former Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto touted her record of holding banks accountable after the recession. (I looked at that claim.) The latest spot -- part of a $900,000 buy -- signals that Democrats are banking on this issue. (Try the veal!)
Clinton Nevada team gets new blood
After successfully winning Nevada, a key pivot point in the presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton's campaign has new leadership in the We Matter State.
SuperPAC goes up with second radio ad hitting Cortez Masto
One month after its first radio ad used brutal language to try to alienate Hispanics from the woman who would be the first Latina U.S. senator, the group is up with a new spot.
DCCC poll: Rosen, Clinton lead in CD3
A survey taken for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee shows the party's nominees for Congress and president leading in Rep. Joe Heck's swing congressional district. These are the first public polling results from Nevada in the White House race since both primary races ended (there wasn't much before, either), and they indicate Hillary Clinton likely is ahead of Donald Trump in the state. Both the congressional and presidential contests have a substantial number of undecided voters four months from Election Day -- about a quater of voters in both races.
ACLU raises admitted ex parte conversations by state treasurer in school choice filing
In a pair of school choice lawsuit filings within the last week, the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada has raised questions about Treasurer Dan Schwartz's admission of ex parte conversations with state Supreme Court justices.
Raider survey, sent by Vegas chamber, asks every question but one: public money
Las Vegas business leaders received a survey Monday morning sent by the Metro Chamber on behalf of the Oakland Raiders that asks about the proposed stadium but leaves out one teeny piece of the puzzle: How people feel about public money being spent.

Sandoval: Coalition backed out of agreement not to put rooftop solar on the ballot
Shortly before solar companies were poised to file signatures this week for a petition to undo a controversial regulatory decision, Gov. Brian Sandoval had a news release on his desk.
