As if Steven Brooks didn't have enough trouble....

The attorney general has secured an indictment against expelled Assemblyman Steven Brooks for possessing a firearm while being a drug user.

The indictment, obtained through a Clark County grand jury, is associated with his first arrest, when he was found to have a .357 revolver and 41 rounds of ammunition. He was found to be "an unlawful user" of marijuana.

He later was arrested on the day he was expelled in California, where he faces several charges.

Brooks' friend, Las Vegas Couniclman Ricki Barlow, is listed as a witness on the indictment.
